Visit rescued wildlife in Nairobi on a half-day tour of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Giraffe Centre. You’ll have the chance to watch baby elephants feed and play, speak with the conservationists about the animals’ stories, and climb into an elevated platform for eye-level views of endangered Rothschild’s giraffes; combining the two conservation destinations saves time on the road to maximize your time with the animals.
The tour starts by picking you from your Hotel/Home within Nairobi.
Pickup time: 10:00am
Here you will be able to mingle with rescued baby and teenage elephants and learn their unique yet moving stories of how
they got there,a keeper who will give a talk about the elephants, where they came from, how they are getting on, and how
some of the previous orphans are progressing. You can get really close to the elephants. The orphanage also takes in rhinos
and so if you are lucky you will get the chance to see a young rhino.
A Giraffe is a unique animal found only in Africa. Learn how it feeds on thorns and twigs and how it survives the
pricks.Learn the diffrent types of this amazing african animal. An education tour with proffesional guide.Remember to carry
a valid Identification Card with you. Proceeds from entry fees go towards our conservation education work with students and
teachers across Kenya.A great experience with the world's tallest animal.
Our Driver/Guide takes you to a resturant where you can enjoy both local and intercontinental meals. A time to relax and
interact. After Lunch guests are dropped back to the hotel/destination within Nairobi.
