Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya is a premier game reserve located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River.
Samburu Reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of rare species of animals such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, and the Beisa Oryx.
The reserve is also home to a population of close to 900 Elephants. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah are an important attraction (Kamunyak the famous Lioness that adopted a baby Oryx is a resident in the reserve).
Depart from Hotel or Residence in Nairobi or areas within Nairobi. Its around 5 hours drive to Samburu. We have a stop at Nyanyuki Town, a good time to
Arrive for a late lunch around 3PM and enjoy the Hotel facility at Sopa Lodge Samburu till the Evening Game drive.
An Evening gamedrive at 4PM to 6PM.
Later retreat for evening dinner and an overnight at the Lodge.
Depart from the Hotel for an early Morning Game drive at 6am. Carry some snacks and retreat back to the lodge after the game drive at 8am for breakfast.
Relax at the lodge and enjoy the Faclities e.g Swimming pool
At 10Am Depart and Checkout from Samburu and proceed to the other side of Ewaso Nyiro in Sarova Shaba Reservce.
Check in at Shaba National Reserve a good time for lunch. Later proceed at for a Game drive at Shaba Reserve of Buffalo Springs.
Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.
Enjoy the morning sunrise game drive at 6:30am to 9am. Retreat to the Hotel for breakfast and refreshments.
Checkout at 10am and make headways back to Nairobi.
